Equity Indexed Annuity - Not to be confused with a Fixed Annuity or the Variable Annuity (a VA is probably one of thee worst products ever dreamed up)
Clarification - I am NOT saying that EIA's are right of that all of them are good (like anything else) but there are some that work great for persons about to retire and people who have recently retired. Our office works exclusively with age 50+ for wealth preservation and legacy planning using many products and strategies. I don't want my comment to be "broad" analysis, except the part about VA's. :o)
