Which only proves my privious opinion of her as a glorified scam artist.

She does not make her money from her own advice. She makes money from SUCKERING people into paying for her advice.

Every single piece of "family" advice she has ever offered is now discredited.

She obvioulsy knows nothing of estate planning.
She knows nothing of cohabitation agreements.
She knows nothing of trusts or wills.

All we do is estate planning and the right EIA can be a poor mans trust, probate and tax free. We us a couple of her quotes actually about EIA's and now she proves that she doesn't even know what it does. Humorous.

She'll get dinged with either estate taxes or gift taxes. Generally, it's considered better to give you money away because it's tax exclusive, but even that advice is now questionable because of the unknown status of the estate tax.

Because of the uncertainity surrounding the future of the estate tax, effective planning is really not very easy right now.

Or: She knows that this is possible through estate planning, and probably plans to do that, but she knows most people don't and she wants to get a subtle dig in at the fact that homosexuals can't get "married." I think the latter is more likely.
