Orman says they'd like to get married, and both "have millions of dollars in our name. It's killing me that upon my death, K.T. is going to lose 50 percent of everything I have to estate taxes. Or vice versa." If she is the investment guru then she should know that with Life Insurance and EIA's she can pass most of it on tax free. What happen to the various kinds of trust where the money is protected and they don't need to get married.
It is nothing new about her Same-sex partner she has told the story where she had business with her lover and the story always sounded like the partner was a female!
I still perfer "don't ask don't tell" it is more than we want to know!

Someone pointed out in an earlier post that she was speaking not as an investment guru but as an H-MO. If she has been speaking as a investment adviser she would have known that. Her books are full of very useful and practical advise, we actually use some of her quotes from her books. I don't know if that makes her a good adviser or a good editor. ;o)
