The problem is that you can't look inside a person's head.

Actually, with brain scans and scientific testing, you can make a pretty accurate representation of what's going on in someone's head.

Which one of your statements, above, is accurate?

Both of them are accurate, as I have already stated:

Actually, with brain scans and scientific testing, you can make a pretty accurate representation of what's going on in someone's head. The 'you' in the second part was referring to a private person who had done no such experiment (therefore, he/she cannot know what is going on).
