Tell her to cut under the arm close to the pit or the inside of the thigh close to the groin. A stab and twist in these areas are almost sure to sever an artery. Otherwise knees, shins and feet are a good bet for stomping. Tell the girls as well as the boys that there's no such thing as a fair fight.
A punch to the throat is very effective as well, and most people do not think to protect the throat. (that's what I taught my sweetie pie)
As a former little girl and mother of little girls, I have to tell you that your recipe, even if you threw in a few .22 caliber bullets, is likely to irritate an aggressive male and could very well provoke him to outright violence.
