Tyrannies: Neither Zimbabwe's grotesque 83rd birthday party for Robert Mugabe nor Fidel Castro's latest TV appearance conceals what is really before our eyes as the two regimes celebrate: a specter of disintegration.
That trouble is brewing in both Havana and Harare is obvious with the expulsion Thursday of Chicago Tribune reporter Gary Marx from Cuba. Instead of his open-eyed reporting, we now are reduced to press releases about Mugabe not feeling a day older and what brand jogging suit Castro is wearing.

What both of these nations are lacking is a modern version of George Washington. Without him, their finish will take much longer.
You'd never know this if you get your news from ABC/NBC/CBS/NPR/AP/CNN/NYT/LAT/BG. You also cant get this from Fox News because they are too busy covering the ANS corpse war. It's not wasy finding out what is really going on in the world.
It's a nice break for Gary Marx. Even a cold February in Chicago has to be better than spending time in Castro's Cuba.
Of course Americans never heard this mentioned by ABC,
NBC, CBS, CNN, MSNBC, WashPost, NYTimes, etc. Wonder why?
bttt
Thought this was a Hillary thread. Sorry.
They might buy a little time if Huey Chavez decides to bankroll them, but basically yes, they are. Venezuela is on the beginning of the very same road, and North Korea is at its end.
LOL!!!!!
