Readers Share Their Lists Of Most Influential February 22, 2007 Vox Populi, Politics
By Chuck Baldwin
In a recent column
http://www.chuckbaldwinlive.com/c2007/cbarchive_20070213.html
I listed 50 people that I wished could be regarded as most influential in our country. In that column, I invited readers to share the names of people that they feel are deserving of that recognition. Boy, did they! Scores of readers responded. Not surprising, I suppose, is that most of the responders repeated several names. Many of the names I know; some I do not.
Nevertheless, here are the names of people that readers said they would like to see regarded as Americas most influential leaders. They are listed in no particular order. (I am not responsible for spelling errors. I took the names as they were provided.)
Neal Boortz, Rush Limbaugh, Mark Levin, Henry Lamb, John McArthur, Mother Angelica, Alex Jones, David Ray Griffin, Paul Proctor, Noah Hutchings, Alan Franklin, Berit Kjos, Nancy Levant, Lou Dobbs, William Norman Grigg, William Jasper, Bob Unger, Paul Harvey, Ann Graham Lotts, Walter Williams, Drew Malone, G. Edward Griffin, Tupper Saucy, Ralph Epperson.
Lindsay Williams, Eric Jon Phelps, Bill Deagle, Alan Sears, Greg Palast, Vic Eliason, Jim Schneider, Roy Masters, Lew Rockwell, Michael Badnarik, Aaron Russo, Judie Brown, Dennis Cuddy, Tony Dungy, Danny Wuerffel, Irwin Baxter, Wendy Wright, Joel Skousen, David Brownlow, Deanna Spingola, Michael Ruppert, Catherine Austin Fitts, Mike Rivero, Bill Bonner, Jack Hook.
Michelle Malkin, Michael Steele, Thomas Sowell, Ward Connerly, Diane Alden, John Bolton, Clarence Thomas, Jane Orient, Curtis Caine, Dan Jordan, Jack McLamb, Joe Banister, James Traficant, Bob Solomon, Walter Myers, Jim Cabaniss, Dave VonKleist, Joyce Riley, Joan Veon, Bernadine Smith, Mark Koernke, Scott Bradley, John McManus, Robert McCurry, Ravi Zacharias.
There you have it. Did you recognize any of your personal heroes? One thing appears obvious to me: most of the names that I recognized on this list would be better than who we currently have leading and speaking for our country, that is for sure.

Jim Traficant?
The guy may have been great during his one-minute speeches on the floor of the House - but he's also a convicted crook who's doing time in a federal prison.
I'd replace him with Debbie Schlussel.
Never heard of many of them.
The ones that struck me were Rush, Walter Williams and Neil Boortz.
What? No ANS?
It's good to see Roy Masters on the list.
This couldn't possibly be him, could it?
This is beyond funny. I mean Catherine Austin Fitts, Danny Wuerffel and Ralph Epperson, names included in the 50 most influential in our country. I can't stop laughing !!!
Walter Williams is my hero. I sure know how to treat women too.
OOPS!!! That should read HE sure knows how to treat women too.
If you want "to get people talking", you ought to start a discussion on the merits [and demerits] of various brands of beers and cheeses. At least practically everyone has a strong opinion on them, and fancies oneself knowledgeable. OTOH, a list of people the majority of whom one has never heard of [or doesn't remember anything good about them anyway]...
No Larry, Moe and Curly? I am very disappointed, Sir!

Boortz? I think not.
Walter Williams and Thomas Sowell
Couldn't get past the call screener, huh? I'm curious if you think he's too far to the right, or the left?
Neither. We don't get him here. He is only influential with the cannabis wing of the Republican party.
His tax plan is a joke. I only hear him when he guests on Hannity or I am on the road in Columbia.
