She's right. There is lack of freedom in America? Thanks to liberalism, freedom in the realms of thought and speech is not a good idea unless you freely express the party line.

The MSM, with only the recent exception of Fox, is a liberal totalitarian state. Same for many colleges. There are exceptions, but they are not the norm. Diversity in opinion is not encouraged.

As one who survived the silent spring and the ice age of the 1970s, I only have to note the current crisis of "global warming" and how those of us who disagree are likened to Holocaust deniers. Nice.

Shades of what is to come, I'm afraid. When the leftists get to the point of feeling comfortable that they can do things with impunity to people who don't even think along the lines that they do, Theron's complaint of "lack of Freedom" in America will actually ring true.
