Why can't you recognize that in the United States our law allows for a woman to choose to abort her baby? Rudy said he is against it, but also acknowledges the law allowing it, when he says he believes "a woman has the right to choose". That is sad but true.
He has said he would "Like to see it ended". So really, the question to ask him is, "do you consider it settled law?". The answer to that would be interesting.
Consider: "If Rudy wants to see it ended" then it is not a right, now, is it?
That is, unless he believes in ending "rights."
How can he say he believes in "a woman's right to choose" and simultaneously say he wants to see it ended.
He wants to end what he sees as a "right?????"
Giuliani is a lost cause, my friend. If you want a united Republican Party in 2008, then we'd better find someone more palatable for a huge percentage of that party.
As far as I know the United States has never passed a law which allows a woman to choose to abort her baby. There have been a number of attempts to limit such a choice, which have all been struck down by the courts who unconstitutionally fashioned their own legislation on the issue back in 1973.
Why can't you recognize that congress has never passed a law which allows a woman to choose to abort her baby? What we have is not "law" but "precedent". And a very bad one at that.
