You say you want to promote conservatism so you're promoting the most liberal Republican presidential candidate ever. Corrigan planned all along to go to Ireland but had to SAY that his destination was Long Beach to get off the ground. Much the same way you all SAY you're conservatives while you're promoting a liberal on a conservative forum.

My grandmother would often tell in real history, when I asked for a story, as a bitty child. She was alive when Corrigan made his famous flight and told me all about; in detail. It's a great adventure story and what you've left out, is that everyone KNEW what he was doing, when he filed the false flight plan. But they couldn't stop him, because every I was dotted and every T crossed. Neither was he "punished", in any way; but rather, he was a HERO and hailed as such.
