****Is it true that while in South Carolina, Giuliani personally put out fires in several cities simultaneously? He's such a super hero.****
Did you say "Super Hero"?

9/11 in NYC was confined to a couple of blocks. A more realistic comparison to a MAJOR terrorist attack on a big city... would be NOLA after Katrina hit. You are comparing Hurricane Katrina to 9/11? Are you serious?

So he left off the part where he said that if his daughter wanted an abortion, that he would pay for it. The guy is pandering and saying whatever the current audience wants to hear.

all the Mayors of NYC have the same problem its not just Rudy.
And how many had the lessons of the 1993 WTC bombing to go by? I know unions are trouble, but their little feud got a lot of people killed, including their own. Rudy sure did not appear to fight them very hard.

Umm trying to build up a city which was down and dirty was a big priority - whether the cops or Firefighters want to join together was a low priority at the time which to this day is still not done and is still not considered a priority. When they need to band together they will band together as you saw on 9/11. All NYers band together during a crisis. Is it done in other big cities and small cities? I don't think so if there are unions involved and money.

Actually, if he was pandering to a SC crowd, he would have said that he has recently changed his mind about it all and would insist on a zero tolerance position on abortion and he would litmus test judges and only appoint anti-Roe ones.
THAT's pandering.
Not repeating a quote he made once verbatim is NOT pandering.

The cut and run rhetoric from the Democrats and white flag Republicans in Congress only encourages Islamic fascists to attack the US to accomplish the ultimate capitulation. I fully expect an attack on the US with some type of WMD, likely a dirty bomb, perhaps during the 2008 campaign as an attempt to influence the elections. That strategy worked so well in Spain.

I'm not interested in them 'banding' but in being able to respond to the next terrorist attack more along the lines of how things were done at the Pentagon.

UMMMM SORRY GUYS, HE DID ANSWER THE QUESTION WHILE IN SC.
From FireFighting News
On Wednesday, Giuliani reiterated his own position. "I'd advise my daughter or anyone else not to have an abortion," Giuliani said. "I'd like to see it ended, but ultimately I believe that a woman has the right to choose.
"I believe that you've got to run based on who you are, what you really are and then people actually get a right to disagree with you," he said. "And I find if you do it that way, even people who disagree with you sometimes respect you."

What are you talking about? - the response to the terrorists attacks in NY were responded to exceedingly well. Who the hell knew the buildings were going to collapse? Certainly not NYers, firefighters, the Mayor or Police. What response from 9/11 did you not like and think that the Pentagon response was done better? There was no panic by the firefighters and police department - they did what they were going to do - try to rescue people in a burning building. As far as the collaspe is concerned - NO ONE KNEW THAT WOULD HAPPEN. Don't compare the Pentagon with NYC Different building different scenario - different.

...do you mean the Rinse and Repeat crowd.Don't have a clue as to what you're talking about.
But I do know that darling "Rudy" is a liberal in disquise, who has no problem whatsoever enacting gun bans, strengthening the abortion on demand laws, trouncing the US Constitution in furtherance of his crusading bullshit and just downright being an annoyance to true conservatives.
Now, you got your panties all in a wad over the fact that someone actually has the guts to say what he really is.
Your hero-worship will not change him, nor will his lying change him.
He has flip-flopped on several issues, his answers being modified and presented in response to whatever the particular poll says is the correct thing for him to say.
So, I'll not spar with you over this, but the fact remains, "Rudy" may be a nice guy, but he ain't a conservative and his thoughts, remarks and previous actions all point to his liberal gun-grabbing, abortion-sympathizing ways.
He'll not get my vote, but I also assure you that no democrat will get it, either.
There are some good candidates emerging...but "Rudy" and McInsane ain't in that category.
Now, go ahead and spit and sputter and get all red-faced and call names...but "Rudy" is still "Rudy".
