The US Homeland Security Secretary visited the Valley today. Secretary Michael Chertoff talked about the border fence and the violence across the border.

He says nothing is definite when it comes to border security. He tells us they are still trying to determine where the border fence will be put.

Chertoff even says there may be a chance it won't be put up here, because the river separates South Texas from Mexico.

He also told us when it comes to border violence, the government is trying all they can to make sure it doesn't spill over.

"There's got to be a clear message. We do not back down in the face of force. We do not back down in the face of violence. We are making sure we will enforce the law," says Chertoff.

Chertoff is a lying liar. How can he live with himself?

Also yesterday, he helped SCREW in a few bolts to a border fence in Yuma and announced there would be no 6,000 troop increase in Border Patrol agents, as promised by the administration in May 2006, and still believed to be in effect just two days ago.

Top Homeland Security official Michael Chertoff announced in Yuma on Tuesday that increases in Border Patrol agents in the summer will halt due to progress in constructing infrastructure along the border.

He is full of crap! He is down there with a dog and pony show making out that he conducting border enforcement and rounding up some illegals so they can get that amnesty legislation through the congress and after that it's business as usual. We want all that oil that Mexico has and we want our companies to take it out of the ground! The porous border and free movement over the border is the price we will pay!
