if it was indeed a Navy or US missile that took out FLT 800...Wouldn't there be some evidence of Military personnel changes...dead end career moves, demotions, etc....Could a whole Ships crew be silenced?...Maybe
I remember touring DC in the early 90's, and one of the interesting tid-bits of info from a professional tour guide was about recently released Top-Secret documents from the WW2 era. It seems a solider manning an anti-aircraft gun had screwed up and shot the Lincoln or Washington monument! In the name of National Security, the story was completely hushed up and classified as Top Secret, and remained that way until it was declassified in the 80's or 90's.....Any truth to that story fellow Freepers??

Could a whole Ships crew be silenced?...Maybe Of course not. Not ever.
Like the old saying goes: Three men can keep a secret if two of them are dead. There's simply no way something that juicy could have remained a secret if a whole ship's crew knew about it. Sorry. Ain't happening.
I dunno for sure what brought down Flight 800 but it wasn't a Navy missile.

LOL!
If this was classified, it would have been on the front page of the NYT, somehow blaming Rumsfeld.

Based on the evidence I've seen, I believe that it was definitely a missile that took out flight 800. I don't believe it was a terrorist attack. When terrorists attack, they claim responsibility. It's their way of boasting and saying, "you see, look what we can do.". But in this case, no one took responsibility.
I believe that the navy defense exercises that were taking place that day confused flight 800 with that of a drone / target aircraft. I've seen pictures of a missile in flight above the water, taken the same day as the explosion, even though the military denies conducting defense exercises the day of. Somebody's lying here. And the only people talking is the NTSB.
Let's not forget the eye witnesses on the ground who "saw a streak...like a missile...heading in the direction of...". These people have nothing to gain by making these statements. The NTSB on the other hand has everything to lose. I trust eye witnesses on the ground more than I trust the NTSB any day of the week. Remember, those who work for the NTSB are paid to say what they are told to say.
