According to John McCain, Club Gitmo is a bad symbol for America.

I can't believe he's saying that during the Republican primary phase of the campaign. Good for the crowd not applauding him.

This joker just doesn't THINK.
In Ft. Leavenworth they would be on American soil instead of leased Cuban soil, and we would have the whole habeas corpus issue that was just settled open up again like a can of nasty putrid worms.
Either he's an idiot, or he really IS the Manchurian Candidate.

The latest Judicial ruling regarding US-held prisoners is that for those held outside the US, the US courts have no jurisdiction.
And McCain would move them all to Kansas! What a dolt.

move those prisoners to Fort Leavenworth. Would moving them to US soil change their legal status in any way?
If so, why does McCain support this?

And move them to Levenworth.
Yet the court ruled yesterday that if they were in Levenworth they could be tried in civil courts, did they not?

And if I was elected president, the first day in office I would have Gitmo's capacity increased and %60 of our elected reps would find themselves guests until such time they actually understand, and can publicly admit, that we are in the middle of a serious war and that their anti-American activities will not be tolerated any longer.

McCain hasn't realized yet that the majority of Americans could give two $hits about Gitmo. Typical RINO way of thinking...wasting time on unimportant stuff.

One of the things I would do, the first day I am President of the United States....Sorry, John, but that will never happen. The sad truth is that the MSM is building you up so they can tear you down when you run against Hillary. And it will be so easy too: The Keating Five, Your Adultry, Your Temper, Your Age, .... Thankfully the fact that you are the Senator who has alienated the most Republicans (with the possible exception of Hagel and Spector) guarantees that you will never even be nominated.
