Good news, Savage doing a non-pre-recorded interview for a change. Bad news, it's kinda boring but for a good cause.

January 6, 1914 - February 6, 1991 Born Muzyad Yakhoob in Dearborn, Michigan, and later known as Amos Jacobs, Danny Thomas was best known for his television portrayal of Danny Williams on Make Room For Daddy. He appeared in many films and television shows, and partnered with Sheldon Leonard and Aaron Spelling to create shows such as The Dick Van Dyke Show, The Andy Griffith Show, and The Mod Squad. Danny Thomas also founded the St. Jude’s Children Research Hospital in Memphis in 1962 and raised $12 million annually to keep it operating. Brother Thomas' initiation on March 15, 1984 led to a brief withdrawal of recognition by the Grand Lodge of California of the Grand Lodge of New Jersey from August 29, 1984 to October 19, 1984, as Thomas was a resident of California at the time. This incident did not prevent him from going on to be an active Shriner and to publicly speak glowingly about Freemasonry.

Are burgers really bad for the heart?

Well, everyone has to die of something, make mine 100% grade 'A' American beef covered in mushrooms and onions, thank you sir.

I have a feeling those ladies never eat at their own restaurant. They'd never fit into those outfits if they did. LOL!

Hello, DC! Get a load of that black Muslim caller. After calling Savage by his own name, Mohammed, Michael responds with "no, I'm Michael. You're Mohammed." LOL! To which the Muslim responds with "you're definitely not a Mohammed." I wish Savage would've came back with something like this:

"Thank goodness I wasn't named after a seventh century child molester." ZING!

I've lost nearly 30 lbs that way. LOL! Don't knock it until you try it, besides it isn't like the burger bun adds anything to the burger itself other than empty calories.

If I want empty calories, I'll have cheesecake, not cardboard masquerading as a burger bun. LOL! But it's lent now so there probably won't be much demand for cheesecake in the near future. LOL!

That's a good point. I usually skip the bread, and just stick to the meat. A burger and peppers, with a little mayo on the side.

Mushrooms? Onions? Yum, yum, so by your answer I guess burgers are bad for the heart. Not a big meat eater myself but never really gave that much thought.

To be honest, because I no longer walk, I'm down to about one meal a day. But in the summer, I'll do an occasional steak or burger. Generally though, I stick to soup and coffee.
