"Rudy Guiliani will appoint judges who mirror Rudy Guiliani's Legal Philosophy, because -- get this -- Rudy imagines that his own Legal Philosophy is Correct."

Please learn what strict constructionism means. It means that the Constitution means what it says. This is contrast to those who assert that the constitution is a "living" or "evolving" document.

Do you think that Giuliani believes himself to be a strict constructionist?

'Strict constructionism' would also seem to mean that the Constitution is not a document to be 'extrapolated' in redefining terms, such as 'right to life' extrapolated to 'right of the unborn to life'. Correct me if I'm wrong, but the Constitution guarantees rights only to U.S. citizens, and an unborn child is not a U.S. citizen. Perhaps the founders gave us much more freedom than we imagine they did. Anybody explored this line of reasoning?

Basically, as a mostly-libertarian, I'm warning 'social-conservatives' that 'strict constructivism' might more align with a libertarian point of view than their view.
