I have shunned friends that were to free with their expletives.
It often makes me cringe to hear the f-bomb but I will only speak out against it if children are present to hear it.

Maybe you should read it again and this time look for the meaning behind the quote. John Galt held altruist, the lazy - and especially - the accommodaters in contempt. Especially the accommodater because they supposedly knew better but were unwilling to stand up and say NO.

Good for you. The only thing is that others (like me) will call you on the fact that you facilitate the lowering of standards by not holding others feet to the flame.
