Covering vulgarity by abbreviation is just a cowards way of trash talk. You still use vulvarity you just try to disguise but the result is that you still use it. Being a generally polite person I didn't feel obliged to point that out to anyone.

Maybe you should. Without feedback from society, people tend to sink to the lowest level they can. What do you think got us where we are today? - People being "polite". Being accepting instead of holding others to higher standards.

I don't agree. It is because people have generally stopped being polite that we are where we are today.

My lack of influence should not cause or enable you to sink to your lowest level.

I believe that if I act like a jerk others may respond in kind.

Providing feedback, as you say, would tend to bring out the worst in others.
