Bless every single one of you who will be there to defend these sacred places. March 17 falls in my husband's "deployment window", so please know that while these losers from ANSWER are doing their traitorous thing, over 550 families will be saying goodbye, again.

Hold their feet to the fire. Confront them about their lack of coverage of the capitol steps being painted and their selective editing of video that doesn't show the really violent and radical signs and chanting of the hard core Anmarchists/Marxists at these protests.

The local TV news programs (WAVY,WTKR, WVEC) are giving this coverage, not overtly encouraging people to head for The Wall and join the protectors, but strongly hinting that it would be a great idea to protect The Wall from the antiwar nutcases.
I know that there were two (maybe three) MSM video cams covering as well as two "reporters." And again I'm sorry but don't know who they were with. It was a good press vonference, even though the media largely ignored it. Oh, and the sign outside the "First Amendment Lounge" where the event was held had a sign announcing it, but it read, "9:30 PM." No bias there.
And here's the cherry on top... International ANSWER is so worried about the snowballing support for the GOE that they sent Richard Becker, one of the reddest of the communists running the International Action Center and ANSWER to the press conference, to try and mitigate the damage to ANSWER's "peace" facade that this press conference had highlighted. Richard Becker is an older, and scrawnier version of his brother, Brian Becker, who is also a comrade in the IAC, ANSWER, and the Workers World Party. I guess they figured that Brian Becker was too much of a hothead, and would screw things up for them even worse than they were by their announcement of holding their protest at the Wall.
After the press conference was over, Becker cornered one reporter and went into his scripted tale of "This is all a conspiracy hatched by Kristinn Taylor." I am not kidding; Becker repeated Kristinn's name at least a dozen times in the course of his two minute diatribe, and he said that ANSWER has never been violent or vandalized any property. He said that it was all lies being spread about them by the rightwing nutjobs at Free Republic, who were suckering the poor veterans into believing that their Wall was threatened.
A reporter asked Becker about his ties to communist organizations, and Becker said, "I don't know anything about that." The reporter pressed him for an answer, and Becker denied knowledge of his own participation in communist activities, and beat a very hasty retreat from the room as others gathered around him to tape the exchange.

ANSWER the communist peace group has picked sides in this war and they tell people to support those killing our troops. Good intentions are not good enough to mitigate the the real world consequences of the actions of communists like Becker and their front groups. Anyone who claims to be for peace and attends an ANSWER march has blood on their hands.
Becker's group has put that article on the web as a PDF file that can be printed, folded and used as a leaflet at previous "peace marches".

The communist lead front groups calling for "peace" can't keep peace among themselves. The "ANSWER" coalition has split into two factions.
Like rappers, there's an East Coast ANSWER and a West Coat ANSWER and they hate each other. The West Coast ANSWER folks split from the Workers World Party and formed the Party For Socialism and Liberation.
