Well if Agape and World Nut Daily are against Rudy, he just might be worth considering.

Sorry, I would vote for him over any Democrat... We need leaders not one issue platform candidates.

Yes! abortion is wrong and we need to have R vs. W revisited.

But it would be catastrophic to let the pandering left wing run the country into the toilet.

So, you prefer an godless, anti-life, Marxist President Hillary and Senator Bill Clinton who will destroy our economy, private health care, and judicial branch?
I am not pleased with Giuliani's pro-choice and social issues, but I'd rather have him who will go after the Muslim terrorists and appoint consitutionalist judges. A president cannot alone change Roe v Wade. Voting against Rudy for that alone is insane - Can you say, Hello President Hillary? I can't and hopefully won't have to.

This is what those "realists" who are pushing Giuliani so early because they think he's our only hope are turning a blind eye to. There are a significant number of people who will either not vote or will vote third party rather than vote for someone who holds his liberal social views, regardless of the consequences.

Now, you can scream and shout and threaten with visions of Hillary in the Oval Office all day long, and it won't make any difference. There will still be a significant number of voters who go that way. Will it result in a Dem victory? I personally think the Dems are far more likely to win if we run Giuliani, regardless of any conservative holdouts, but let's say the Rudy supporters are right, and a block of conservatives not voting for Giuliani costs us the White House? So what? If it happens, it happens, and predicting it or being proved right isn't going to do a damned thing to protect our country from Islamic terrorism or economic suicide.

So why not support someone in the primaries who actually stands for what the Republican party has traditionally believed in, and who needs no nose-holding except by those whose social views are such that they'd likely be voting for Hillary anyway so that they can be part of electing the first woman President? Such a candidate may well pull the "Reagan Democrats" over whereas they'd otherwise just be voting the party line because there was no clear alternative offered. And if you insist on not supporting such a conservative candidate in the primaries, then how are you being any less instransigent and stubborn than the "purists" who are so often vilified here?

Liberals vote for party, but only some conservatives do this. Many conservatives vote on principle.Rudy is:

Pro abortion
Anti gun
Pro gay
Pro illegal immigration.

Strike 4. He can't win!

Quick quiz.

Which conservative idol was a divorced, former Democrat union president from Hollywood who signed one of the country's most liberal abortion laws into effect as Governor?

Bonus hint:

He employed a White House astrologer.

It seems to me that some conservatives are intent on losing. So fine, lose.

That's right!!! let's all just roll over and give the country back to the Clintons for another eight years. There is not a candidate out there that doesn't have warts some more than others. Romney's been swinging in the breeze with the issues, McCain's a maverick, who goes from one side to the other, Hunter is great, but he has no name recognition or money, Brownback & Huckabee, cut 'n runners. If we don't stand behind the nominee of the party we lose.
