In my initial Posting #1, you can find the Wikipedia article showing that the Al Dawa Party currently holds 25 (sorry, my correction) Seats and is a Member Party of the United Iraqi Alliance ruling coalition, "Al Sistani's List", which is dominated by the Supreme Council for the Islamic Revolution and Al Dawa. The Iraqi Prime Minister, Al Maliki, is a Member of the Al Dawa Party. ~~ LINK, from #1, just as I said.

The Al Dawa Party was the progenitor of Islamic Jihad and Hezbollah, which murdered 241 US Marines in Beirut; and Al Dawa has previously claimed responsibility or been convicted for Anti-American Terrorist acts of their own, such as the attacks on the US, French, and British Embassies.
