The third vet carried a rifle. Teddy commented in his speach that the vets were so old that he was afraid that they were going to trip and fall during the presentation of the flags.

I admit that when one of the vets stumbled, I was thinking the same thing as Teddy. However, I am smart enough not to verbalize all of my thoughts. But then again, Teddy has very few actual thoughts. Most of what he says is fed to him by his party.

Of course we all know why the vets are aging and having trouble walking. I blame Bush!
