More helpful advice from the Boston Globe. Just trying to keep their guy Deval out of trouble. It's just that he's making it so hard for them. Bwhahahhaha!

We Gay Staters can only hope the Cadillac Deval succeeds in his ambitions for a Senate seat next year.Kennedy's liver is bound to give out in the next year or so...or Kerry is sure to die in a windsurfing accident.

Patrick surely can't do any more harm to the state or the nation than Kennedy or Kerry are doing whereas he can do,and has begun to do,breathtaking harm to this state while his office is at the State House.

Of course, all of this wouldn't seem like nearly so big a deal if you were doing something, anything, as governor. Seven weeks into the Deval Patrick administration, seven weeks into your critical but fleeting honeymoon period, and I have no idea what you stand for. That's the biggest problem you have.

Hee, hee! Seven weeks in, and the writer is just waking up to the vacuous campaign slogan of Patrick, "Together We Can". Together we can what? Go broke? Spend our way to the poor house?

I read the article, and I was right--it isn't his looking foolish theyr're concerned about, it's their own obvious folly, and the ignominy of people like me telling them exactly what they were going to get and being proven right one month in.

Not that I would EVER wish ANY harm to a fellow human being, but I keep having this very disturbing premonition-type picture go through my head of Ol' Teddie Boy driving Deval's new Caddie off the Bourne Bridge, taking out the windsurfing John Fonda Kerry en route.

The article must be plausible deniability because Deval is
the ghola of the Boston Globe/Clintons and he is entitled
to the Cadillac and his own helicopter and yacht fleet.

When it looked like Kerry might have a shot at getting elected president, the legislature took away the governor's (Romney's) right to appoint his successor (a Republican) to the Senate. So when BFT finally croaks and the sooner the better, Cadillac Deval will prolly have to run in a special election. And seeing that he's off to such an electrifying start...can you say "Senator Schilling?"

The Legislature appoints successers to the Senate now. They will gladly send him on his merry way to Wash.
Out of sight,out of mind.

Yes,I'm aware of what the legislature did...and I,for one, would have expected nothing less.

But in a special election,Cadillac Deval would have a huge advantage over any other candidate.
