I agree with the dislike of the "like" so much in sentences. However, I think the rescue and bravery of this young man far exceeds his language at this time.
He's a hero. A REAL hero!
On the whole, I'd rather live next door to this young man than next to than the stereotypical English major. Like, ya know?
