January 1, 2007 - A national coaltion of citizens, including war veterans, distinguished academics, students, journalists, artists, and elected officials have joined with us to call for a nationwide boycott of all consumer activity, for one week in April..
The organizers of the boycott have recognized the fact, that our elected representatives have been unwilling to move forward on the public's overwhelming demands for impeachment and an end to the war in Iraq.
This boycott is a way of unifying the opposition to the Bush Administration; and according to Dr. Peter Phillips, who was the first to propose the idea in December, "could well be the straw that broke the camel's back".
The boycott has been called in response to the statement by the new Speaker of The House Nancy Pelosi, that the issue of impeachment was "off the table".
Streissand's picture has inspired me to boycott crack hos.
People who do absolutely nothing conducting a boycott. Gosh, don't hurt yourself!
Heeeeyyy.... This is a 'Logic Free' Zone. There will be no clear, rational thinking in this area.
Sounds like you need to change grocery stores anyways, if you meet smelly hippies and conspiracy theorists on a regular basis in the grocery store
Folks, look at the bright side. This is funny!!
In the old days, the communists would call a general strike. These modern reds are so soft, they they will just stop buying stuff for one measly week. Of course, they will continue to work (those who are employed), but will just try to disrupt the economy of others.
It is so looney. They are to refrain from consumer activities, yet many of those participants (those who are employed) are probably in the business of selling to others in some way. After all, they can't all be living on welfare or trust funds. So they are urging everyone to go to work, but to do nothing. That is probably the way many of them act most of the time, anyway.
I love to observe how stupid these anti-Americans can be: it gives me a sense of confidence. Surely they will not be able to lead our country long.

It's funny to me that these dummies would boycott. On my street we've got a good mix of conservatives and DUmmies. Guess who has much more stuff on the road on grabage day? Here's a hint: it ain't the conservative households.
"....public's overwhelming demands for impeachment and an end to the war in Iraq."
Delusional.
FATRAT: Making a note of this time period. this will be my week to take inventory and stock up on everything i need and buy a few things i don't need.
COBRA64: You're joking. Right?
No! I am as serious as a heart attack!
Don't forget your First Aid kit, cell phone, flashlights, batteries, blankets, bottled water, canned food, porta-potty, medicine, and all important documents including your Will. Also make sure that all your insurance premiums are paid up through the end of the year.
BDS at its finest.
I know. There are even some FReeprs who are gearing up for this calamity by running to the store for supplies..
