According to different news accounts, Kiren Chetry wanted Gretchen Carlson (new Fox & Friends hostess) fired. Her agent demanded that Carlson's firing (time, date and place) be put into Chetry's new contract. Fox not only refused but showed Chetry the door.

Yes, it seems she wanted Gretchen Carlson fired, and when she called the network on that, the network said her contract was terminated effective immediately, and she was free to pursue other employment.
Reportedly, CNN hired her within an hour of her dismissal.
