Good points. If we continue to rationalize our defeat in 2006 as being caused by turnout, a biased press, and the failure to get out our message, we will be acting like the Dems after their defeats. The GOP must define itself again and enumerate the reasons why people should vote for us and not against the Dems.

We can't continue to be on the defensive and allow the Dems to frame the debate.

Personally, I'm not worried about that. Dems themselves can't even define the debate or provide any solutions. Harry Reid was on Late Edition and gave so many non-answers, it was ridiculous. Every Dem discussing an issue always uses some figure from the latest poll to prop up whatever bilge they're spewing. Polls are fickle....principles are not. Candidates who have them and stick to them are our answer.
