The idea that the President is unable to get his message out because of censorship by the MSM is too conspiratorial for me and underestimates the power of the President's bully pulpit. If the Dems cut off funding for the troops, which I seriously doubt, they will pay a political price. As a Vietnam veteran who spent a year in country [including during the Tet offensive] and another 8 months off the coast, I DON'T WANT our soldiers to die. What I do want is for our political leaders, including the CIC, to speak up in the most forceful terms about the need to win this war and not have the sacrifice of brave Americans be considered a "waste" as Obama said.
