Iraq is part of the WOT. We just can't walk away from Iraq like we did in Vietnam. There is much more at stake now.

I could not agree with you more. We have no idea how bad terrorism will develop if we leave Iraq too quickly, or before Iraq can stand on her own. There is no question in my mind that Iran is aligning with the Shiites in Iraq.

Agreed. We shouldn't walk away from it; and we couldn't walk away from the GWOT if we tried. But true to form, the Leftists and their dupes are trying hard to do so. The fanatics will strike us again; and, tragically but inevitably, the damage will be great enough to overcome the current ravings of the termites on the Left and their enabling flock of pampered "peace at any price" sheeple.

All of the greatness that once was America was earned by folks who merely backhanded idiots like Juan Williams who once again demonstrated on FNS this morning the downside of free speech. Give things a little time, and be prepared. After the battle of Iraq is lost due to treasonous interference from the Left, the nation's attitude will be finally adjusted by an attack large enough to wake even the human offal that wastes oxygen under the fat part of the bell curve.

Don't be fooled by the prospect that we may yet prevail in Iraq etc.. The magnificent cretins à la Hagel etc. have already sent a message deep into radical Islam; the Islamofascists are more convinced than ever that time is on their side.

It was all stated with a dazzling precision centuries ago:

"But man, proud man, drest in a little brief authority, most ignorant of what he's most assured, his glassy essence, like an angry ape, plays such fantastic tricks before high heaven as make the angels weep."
-Bill Shakespeare

Have a great Daytona 500 Sunday, everyone.
