Bill and Hill's blackmail operations did not start with the FBI files and they sure didn't stop there. Arkansas State Troopers said Bill used to send them out to "dig up some dirt" on whoever was currently annoying him while he was governor.

The FBI file info could still be used against people still in government, but new people pop up all the time.

Hence the need for an ongoing up to date blackmail factory.

Opposition research is a good thing if it exposes a corrupt or crooked pol BEFORE they're elected. OTOH it's a great tool for blackmail.

I wonder how Judd Legum, John Podesta and the Center for American Progress intend to use it.
