Regardless of the liberal MSM's claim that "he wasn't a terrorist" re the Salt Lake City massacre, the perp was a muzzie and he was on his own personal jihad. Unfortunately, if godforbid an attack were to occur at a school, the reaction would be a ridiculous OVERreaction as it ALWAYS is in the culture of public schools. Like the kid who is suspended from school because he draws a picture of his dad, a u.s. soldier, in uniform with a gun. Schoolboards, PTA's, superintendants,teachers, and teacher's unions, are not exactly qualified to make decisions that our military, police, and defense department are making everyday.

In Beslan, the muslims only had one goal, terror. To torture and rape and finally kill and be killed.

I don't think our police would react well to such an attack, as I think the best, worst alternative would be to immediately storm the school. Although "immediate" would likely be too late.

Once they have antipersonnel mines dotted throughout the kids with dead-man switches, the alternatives are very grim.

I think the decision that would save the most lives would be to teach children to run away in such a situation no matter what. In perhaps the opposite of a fire drill, pandemonium is the most likely thing to deter early detonation, as the attackers would have a tendency to want to get maximum effect (and thus hesitate with the bombs). There is a finite number of kids that can be shot running away, but they can kill them all if you give them time.

If your children are homeschooled they will not be victims of terrorism in school. ( or rape, sexual harassment, or bullying.)

Yes, terrorism happens elsewhere. The Washington snipers, and Salt Lake City's Trolley Square are examples. At least, by taking them out of school, the parent has removed them from a very large and attractive target. They are likely far safer at home.
