WHERE IS SALEH GOWAD?
This whole case has centered on killing the wrong guy when the unit originally wanted Gowad. What was he wanted for, where is he now...........................
Good question. He had been held in confinement. I'll bet Nancy Youssef knows. She seems to be able to walk right up to the door....

Nancy Youssef, Baghdad bureau chief, joined the Washington Bureau in August 2005. Before that, she was a reporter for the Detroit Free Press, covering legal issues. Her parents are from Egypt, and she has been visiting the region all of her life. She speaks Arabic.

How about Drew Brown and Zaineb Obeid? They also contributed to this report in two different versions of the article.
Before the incident that resulted in the Pendleton 8 case, Saleh Gowad had been released three times, I think. No mention that he has been returned to confinement.
