Lincoln's death mask is on display at the Library of Congress along with some of his personal effects. Really interesting to see.

The Lincoln stuff they have in the basement of Ford's Theater is pretty interesting, too.

whoa... If there's ever a new movie about him I'm going to go ahead and suggest he be played by Patrick Stewart (and besides, the voice would be awesome)

I seem to recall that George was also rather tall among his contemporaries. If you add hair, a spiffy outfit (especially a military uniform), along with his intellect, bravery and passion for doing the right thing for the right reasons, I bet he was quite the figure of Revolutionary Manly Sexiness. No wonder Martha was so smitten.

Several sets of Washington's teeth are on display at the Museum of Dentistry in Baltimore. The teeth were made out of a variety of materials.

Why was I almost sure that the final claim would be that Washington was African-American?
That's the word on the street.

I hope they don't use taxpayer funds for this "best guess" cr@p. In this day and age, there are a lot better uses for the money spent on such a dubious project.

Patrick Stewart is a great actor and I love his voice. But FYI I think Jeff Daniels did an excellent job of portraying Washington in The Crossing.

If you haven't seen it, check it out. I think it was very well done. It showed George Washington as a human being but also someone with great intelligence, an exceptional inner strength and a real leader and well respected among his troops.

Amazing, how they can form an accurate 3-D rendering of someone's face based on nothing more than ... several accurate 3-D renderings.
