Actually, I'm feeling NAUSEOUS.
By all means don't feel helpless. We are the silent majority. Our leadership may be letting us down, but that doesn't mean we are out. Make a difference everyday, help the soldiers in your own way (USO, friends in uniform, etc.) and never give up hope - as soon as too many of us do, we are finished and the blowhards who care more about their own power than freedom, liberty and the pursuit of happiness for all people will have won.
I swear there will be a civil war before long. There are millions of us who are tired of the bashing of our great nation, both from within and without. The elected officials, MSM and some corporate heads...we won't even touch the hollywood crowd, who wish this great country ill even as they reap their millions from what this country offers them. Like you both I feel somewhat helpless...but I have hope that a change is coming soon.
The question is, where are our Republican leaders? Why aren't they speaking out on behalf of our troops and our nation?

We got this way because the left was willing to take to the streets and riot.
Until we are willing to demand what we want, and to back up that demand with force, they will continue to win.
