If you look at "Excerpt) Read more at news.yahoo.com" you can see I got this off of Yahoo. What is the problem?

Good post.
It is a sad state of affairs when Americans would rather bitch and moan for political gain, then win.

We need to pray even harder, because if the press in Iraq begin to see a drop off of deaths they may begin their own suicide murders.

It is too early to tell, but our enemy may have retreated from the battlefield. If so, DemocRATS will be saddened.

It may be that the terrorists are just laying low until this blows over and the extra troops are pulled back out. The most important aspect of this plan is that our troops and the Iraqi forces are going to hold and stay in each area they control, there is no pulling back out. The terrorists cannot simply wait for us to leave those parts of Baghdad this time because we are not leaving. So they have two choice, either they stay in hiding for a very, very, very long time or they show up and face annihilation. So regardless, it is a win-win situation for us, however I rather prefer that they show up so we can totally and absolutely exterminate them.

It's not the AP, it's Agence France Presse - AFP.

Somehow when I hear this, the image of Baghdad Bob comes into mind... Who does this guy (OK, this culture) think it is fooling? Give it some time, it will have the desired results... I hope our government doesn't fall for this BS. I want to see some verification of this claim by our guys.

You're right, of course. I read it too fast and messed up. Other than the name, though, I still think I'm correct.

If it's raally good news. Nancy will take credit for it. Of course, the 'debate' in the House, sent the correct message to the Iraqis.
