Pro-life, pro-liberty, pro-gun Americans--- straight-shooting loyalists who MADE the party what it is today In fact, this RINO maneuver was predicted years ago by savvy social conservatives.....that RINOS would be hell-bent on throwing social conservatives off the Republican flotilla.
However, one of the most ignorant RINO assumptions is that social conservatives are gonna lay down and play dead while RINOs stampede us out of the Repub party.
Ain't gonna happen.
It is Rudy who should GTH out of our party.....subito.
Here and now---let social conservative Repubs take an oath on the Second Amendment---we are united, and standing strong.
The minority party?

Half of voters (49 percent) say they are hoping there is someone new out there who they have yet to hear about who will enter the presidential contest. Republicans (53 percent) are a bit more interested than Democrats (46 percent) for someone new to come along.

(have to summarize, cannot post directly from Gannett)
Only twenty percent of pubbies knew that Rudy supports abortion rights and civil unions for gays.
Nearly as many pubbies thought Rudy was pro-life as thought he was pro-choice.
One in five pubbies said they would not support Rudy given his position on those subjects.
Another 25 percent of pubbies said those positions made them much less likey to support him.

I can see why the Rudy boosters want to declare the race over before it's started. Their RINO has nothing to gain and a whole lot to lose once his liberal views become more widely known and as other new faces get more exposure.
If he loses in the primaries than it doesn't matter. If he wins -- why should HE get out? If he wins, who is in the mainstream and who is not?
Frankly all of the talk about what people would do if candidate X or Y won the primary is premature. Nobody is going to vote for or against a candidate based on threats from other people not to support that candidate in the general election. Why don't we just see what happens in the primaries?
If the Rudy opponents are correct that the Evangelicals and other social conservatives will not vote for Rudy and they represent a majority within the Party, then Rudy will lose anyway. If he does however win in the primaries then either the social conservatives are far from a majority or some of them will have supported Rudy. Why the fear and anger towards a fair primary process?
