I just wanted to let everyone know that I was on that bus pulling back into Walter Reed and every one of you looked so great there!!! All I heard from everyone on the bus was how proud they were that you were there and the "others" were not anymore!! Those soldiers on that bus really appreciate everything that you are doing for them!! I was going to try to run back out to you, but the bus goes really far back into the hospital site and I was afraid that by the time I got there you would be gone.
I am going to be home for spring break on March 16/17, but we are going to try to come back on the 16th meet up with you at Walter Reed and be there for the rally on the 17th. I'll keep you posted and I'm really going to try and be there!! Thanks again, I was so proud to be on that bus and seeing all of you!!!

Nikki...THANK YOU so much. Your heartwarming message helped warm my still cold body.

It is always the highlight of our night to see our beloved heroes return from a nice evening out.

Look forward to seeing you on March 16/17.

Thanks for posting and for the ping!

You would not believe how spectacular it was to have the buses stop last night. It was initially confusing when you all stopped down the street and then pulled over instead of turning into Walter Reed. But stepping onto the buses and having the troops loudly clap for us was a misty eyed, heart warming experience.

I'm happy to have this opportunity to tell someone on the bus how much it meant to us to have you stop, especially on such a cold night, probably the coldest this winter.

I took a quick look at your links, longer look in the near future. Thanks you for your dedication to the POW/MIAs. Another heart warming story knowing that there are people who really care about others more than themselves.

Wow, Nikki, thank you so much! This happened at the FReep on Friday, Feb 16. Look for the report of it by Tom the Redhunter later this week! I think [Mrs] Trooprally also got some pix inside the bus!

Woo-hoo!
