It seems to me the seasons have skewed around somehow. I've been noticing that for years. It takes longer to get cold, and then the cold lasts longer than it used to. Same with summer weather.
You are exactly right, the seasons have been shifting for a number of years now. It gets hot later in the summer and cold later in the winter. I think we can fix the the whole thing by having spring start 21 April, summer about 21 July, fall about 21 Oct and winter 21 Jan.....see it all fits now. Just you and me and an idea! You think we should charge someone for solving the global warming problem?
