That's why we have averages. Temperatures flucuate to extremes. Annecdotal examples are useless

Wouldn't it be of great benefit to mankind if the techno-whizzes of FR could somehow contrive this message to flash up at the 'preview' stage of every post which sees fit to share with us that it's the coldest winter in Clodsville in living memory? [Thus 'proving', of course, that global warming is a hoax]. Thank you for a refreshing statement of the obvious, to which so many otherwise intelligent and perceptive people round here unfortunately seem to be blind.
