I certainly don't recall the MSM ever throwing a fit about any of Louis Farrakhan's numerous outrageous statements, including.......

And Farrakhan is far more high profile than Hardaway, obviously.

What really gets me is how gays get away with equating themselves with blacks and other minorities. They say "We were born this way."

Of course. A while back, Al Franken published a book called Rush Limbaugh is a Big Fat Idiot. Is there a publisher on the planet who would have touched a book called Rosie O'Donnell is a Big Fat Idiot? Or Madeline Albright is a Big Fat Idiot? Or Sandy Burger is a Big Fat Idiot?

You can only say that kind of stuff about certain classes of people: primarily white males and Republicans. Of course liberal white males are an exception to this rule.
