Did you just see FNC?

They had a poll on Republican presidential candidates and asked people which candidate they wouldn't vote for under any circumstances.

Gingrich had the highest percentage of people who wouldn't vote for him no matter what. It was 60-something percent.

Giuliani had the lowest number at 30-something percent.

Thanks BunnySlippers - I want to tell you something.

My ex-wife, raised in South Carolina, an actress who lived in NYC from 1987 to 1997 - told me last night that Rudy may be reason enough for her to vote Republican for the first time in her life.

She's an actress - what can I tell you?

This was her comment: "I saw NYC before and after Rudy came to office. I went from carrying a gun - to roller blading in Central Park. Rudy was a stinking republican - but man did he clean up the mess that was NYC"

For what it's worth.

May I be on the Rudy ping list, please?

I like Rudy...I don't agree with all of his positions. I do think his stated desire to appoint more Judges in the mold of Scalia, Roberts, and Alito is genuine.

He may not be my choice in the primaries. I am undecided at this point. If he is the GOP nominee, I will of course vote for him in an instant.

Thanks for the ping.

Rudy is running strong in the party.

The party outside Arizona has a clear memory of McCain's perennial vocal opposition to the president's policies.

McCain is trying now to ingratiate himself by cozying up to the religious right and being a vocal supporter of the troop surge.

His problem is his record of loudly trumpeting the horrible abuses of Abu Ghraib and Guantanamo, of being a cheerleader for terrorists' rights, of being a wrench in the works giving him the press coverage he craves and the enemy the aid and comfort it craves.

For the latter there is no statute of limitations.

Great poll and it's only going to get better! Just wait until Rudy makes the BIG announcement; he'll get an even bigger bump than anyone expects.
