As far as these alegations are concerned, it's all a red herring. Trepp's company was the only one in the world that made the product in question. The military wanted what Trepp had & he was the only one in the world who had it. Gibbons didn't influence anything. Why would he need to influence? Can you say Haliburton? Same crapola, different day.
I hope for his sake that the allegations are baloney. Because that is all we need but to get pegged with "another" corrupt Republican/RINO, and distract from Reid's dealings. If he is guilty, he should resign now and save the party and the state the trouble, and give Brian Krolicki time to clean up the mess and recover. We don't need another situation like what happened in Ohio where the ethically-challenged RINO Governor with the Conservative political name helped eviscerate the party and destroyed the chances of the finest authentic Conservative to run for Governor in many years, all because he refused to resign as soon as the corruption came to light.
Remember, 'Rats can get away with not only the appearance of impropriety and outright criminal behavior, Republicans can't.
