If only the Serbs had done their job, those people in Utah would be alive today.
The people who were at the mall that day are survivors of a massacre now but it wouldn't justify they going to another country and just opening fire in a marketplace.
"Utah mall gunman was Srebrenica survivor, cousin says
If only the Serbs had done their job, those people in Utah would be alive today."
Your grasp of international politics is...well...somewhat lacking.
Just as being the child of someone caught in an ugly situation does NOT "excuse" ones anti-social behaviour...
Cheering on those who did the slaughtering is less than honorable.
I say that what's being overlooked in MANY of the posts on this subject is the very REAL possibility that the shooter would adhere to whatever he was taught in the home about the "old country".
There are STILL legal immigrants from various European countries that get all pissy about WWII even after we saved their butts...???
So, jumping to the conclusion that you fully understand another's background from his last name or "religion" leaves quite a BIT to be desired.
I DO think that the hidden causes here are cultural, but precisely WHAT pressures came to bear we may NEVER know.
Massacring more than 100,000 people in Bosnia is not a good thing!! Yugoslavians were terrible and they were doing the same exact thing that Hitler was doing. Killing people just because of their religion is wrong, and you cant say that the serbs should have finished that. What about Eric Robert Rudolph he was a christian terrorist who committed a series of bombings across the southern United States, which killed three people and injured at least 150 others. Does that mean we have to say the same thing about them. That we have to murder thousands of Christians, because of that. There is more to violence than religion.
