He is right, the earth has had periods of warming and cooling off and on for millions of years.
Did you hear the caller on Rush (Wednesday, I think) talking about how warming in the arctic lead to more ice in the antarctic, as the broken off ice floes naturally floated South?
That's about as smart as my (joking) comments to the kids upon our return to NC from Boston that it would take very little gas, since the whole trip would be down hill.
