SHOCKING 200G HILL DEAL; KEY DIXIE POL BACKS HER - & GETS PAID
NY POST ^ | February 15, 2007 | MAGGIE HABERMAN

Hillary Rodham Clinton's campaign reached a deal to pay a key South Carolina black leader's consulting firm more than $200,000 just days before he agreed to endorse her run for president.....The arrangement involves South Carolina state Sen. Darrell Jackson, a well-connected African-American leader and pastor whose support is coveted by national campaigns.

Jackson confirmed that his public-relations firm struck a deal with Clinton's campaign just days ago for a contract worth up to $10,000 a month through the 2008 elections. Jackson had also been in talks with Sen. Barack Obama's campaign about endorsing him and a consulting contract for more than $5,000, raising questions about whether Jackson's endorsement was bought by a higher bidder.

Jackson acknowledged that his financial dealings with the Clinton camp should have been mentioned on Tuesday, when his support was revealed......But Jackson balked at suggestions that his political support for sale. "It's not about the money - there were some other candidates who offered to double [Clinton's] offer," Jackson told The Post, though he declined to say which candidates. Jackson said he was heavily courted by Obama personally, Edwards, Joe Biden and Bill Richardson. He said he doesn't draw a salary from Sunrise, but gets to drive a company car. Jackson worked for Edwards in 2004, and for Bill Clinton in 1992.

She's come a long way from the trailer park where a $100 bill would actually buy you something.

With Hill wangling black backing (payola), Obama is probably toast.

...there were some other candidates who offered to double [Clinton's] offer," Jackson told The Post...

Paraphrasing Ann Coulter, left wing activists lie when they don't even need to - - lying is a sporting event among progressives.

Pay to play. Hillary and her HINO 's MO. Is anyone surprised?

If we allow Queen Hillary to ascend to the throne, we will have 4-8 years of this corruption.

Hillary, a racist and anti-semite, has to pay for black support. I'm not surprised.

"anyone, anywhere, who actually supports this awful woman?"
Power and money. Money and power. Like heroin to some.

I heard on the radio this morning that Clyburn has announced that he will not endorse any candidate in the primary.

Indeed. bump

"It may be true that the law cannot make a man love me, but it can keep him from lynching me, and I think that's pretty important."

Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr

Ironically, the logic of this pronouncement by Martin Luther King would, in short order, be refuted by the reality of his own lynching. King's hope was misplaced and his reasoning was circular. The resultant rule of law relied on by King presumed an adherence to the rule of law in the first instance.

Adherence to the rule of law is not something normally associated with the clintons. Moreover, racial and ethnic disrespect, intimidation, exploitation and hate have always been a fundamental clinton tactic and the reflexive use the "N"-word and other racial and ethnic slurs, an essential element in the clinton lexicon. When the "first black president" and his wife ran Arkansas, the NAACP sued them for intimidating black voters at the polls.

GEFFEN UNLOADS ON HILLARY: 'SHE CAN'T WIN'

DRUDGE REPORT
Thu Feb 17 2005 23:13:00 ET

Sen. Hillary Clinton should not count on help from Hollywood mogul David Geffen in her possible run for the White House.

Geffen, who was a generous supporter and pal of Bill Clinton when he was president, trashed Hillary's prospects last night during a Q&A at the 92nd St. Y in New York City.

"She can't win, and she's an incredibly polarizing figure," the billionaire Democrat told his audience. "And ambition is just not a good enough reason."

Lloyd Grove reports in fresh editions of the NY DAILY NEWS the audience broke with "hearty applause" over Geffen's comments.

Invitations To DreamWorks Obamamania Fundraiser Sent;
Hillary Still Unwilling To Concede Hollywood

defamer.com

The DreamWorks trio of Steven Spielberg, Jeffrey Katzenberg and David Geffen sent out hundreds of invitations Wednesday for a Feb. 20 fund-raising reception for Obama's exploratory committee. The $2,300-per-person event, at the Beverly Hilton Hotel, will be followed by a private dinner at Geffen's home for Obama's fund- raising co-chairs. The latter are those who commit to raising $46,000 each for the evening.

The selection of Geffen's home as the post-party destination for the DreamWorks fundraiser probably involved little hand-wringing over potentially bruised booster egos, as his Malibu Gay Mafia compound was the only suitable venue for the symbolic display of loyalty the DreamWorks trinity have planned for their anointed one: the burning of a dozen abducted Orange County Republicans on a massive pyre erected on the mogul's slice of Carbon Beach, whose anguished screams will be muffled by the rubber Hillary masks they've been forced to wear to complete the sacrificial endorsement ritual.
