Well, well...about the ONLY thing that Rudy had going for him - the only thing that the fake conservatives who support(ed) him cared about at all - just got taken away as he revealed that he reveals that he thinks that the Iraq war was probably a mistake based upon the "no WMDs!" charges from the left.

I can see the Rudybots badmouthing Bush and the war in Iraq right now as they keep shilling for their liberal candidate.

It's a real shame to see conservatives being used like this by the NYT and liberal establishment. They're doing everything they can to push your buttons because they're terrified that Rudy can beat their rock star (Obama).

I agree that Rudy is not conservative on social issues but I would be hard pressed to call George Will a fake conservative......see below....also Bill Simon of Calif has sided with him....again, NOT a fake conservative at all.



Due to the challenges facing this country, this election cycle we Republicans need to nominate someone with an actual record of accomplishment of tackling seemingly intractable problems. As George Will said on “This Week,” “His eight years as mayor of New York were the most successful episode of conservative governance in this country in the last 50 years, on welfare and crime particularly." Giuliani, more than any other candidate (Romney comes the closest) has the record of taking on major institutions and reforming them.
