"Most conservatives I know don't want government interference into their lives. Let the people decide at the local level as the founders intended. Most states had laws regarding abortion per their citizens wishes before the liberal activist court intervened at the federal level. We need to fight to get our rights to self-government back."

Abortion is a "local level" issue only if you do not believe there is a right to life that is guaranteed by the Constitution. I believe the right to life is a fundamental right guaranteed by the Constitution, specifically the 5th Amendment, therefore it is a right insured by the Federal government.

Well, maybe so, but if it was working as intended all this would be moot because most if not all states would have laws against abortion just like they do against murder etc. That's the way it worked before liberalism/socialism took over and stripped the rights to self-government away from the states and we the people.
