Bailed out of the race against Hillary Clinton and then did nothing to help Rick Lazio. He couldn't take the heat in a race for New York State office Fighting cancer doesnt sound like he bailed out of the race to me. I volunteered and worked for the Lazio campaign, and when he could Rudy made appearances for him. If anyone is to blame for Hillary winning it is the leadership if of the NY Republican party, they bailed out.

If you can say Rudy's support of Lazio was at best lukewarm you are not being honest. I know he had cancer but he could have stayed in the race. As far as the NYS Republican party, they might as well be democrats.
