To put it bluntly the cops do not have a duty to protect you or your loved ones which in plain language means you are on you own.

He (Giuliani) already knows this & doesn't care. He is more interested in power, your right to live your life as you see fit must be subject to the control of the political class or else freedom & liberty break out and the politicians just can't have that happening. Why the peasants (thats all the rest of us) might realize that they don't need all the politicians & govt flunkies.
