OMG! She looks like a tough one! Sister John Michael, when I was in her class, was about 27 years old, she had a thing about making you wack yourself on your knuckles with a ruler, she would stand at the back of the classroom and make you stand at the front, back then the nuns wore a lot of garb including head garb, the idea was she wanted to hear the noise of the ruler cracking your knuckles, she would decide how long you had to wack your knuckles, sometimes if you were really bad she'd make you do it til your knuckles bled and back then there was no back talk and parents did not come running to the school to complain or better yet, sue the school, you took your lumps, your parents backed the teacher and that was that.
